DEAR BRAIN
The story of dementia is changing.

Research suggests that up to 45% of dementia cases may be linked to factors we can influence throughout life.
And yet, we still tend to think of dementia as something that belongs to old age — something to worry about later, when memory begins to change.
The story of dementia is changing.
We now know that the health of our future brain is shaped across a lifetime — often decades before the first symptoms appear. And midlife is an especially important window to start paying attention.
But it is never about the perfect moment. Wherever you are today, there are things you can do to support your brain for the years ahead.
That is why now matters.

DEMENTIA PREVENTION PROGRAM:
This is your personal journey through the five DEAR BRAIN pillars:
KNOWLEDGE · NUTRITION · MOVEMENT · SLEEP & STRESS · COMMUNITY
Together, we look at where you are now, what may be influencing your long-term brain health, and where small, realistic changes could make the greatest difference.
It is about understanding your brain better and discovering the power that comes with that knowledge. Because when you understand what your brain needs — and why — you are far more likely to make choices that serve you well and turn them into habits that genuinely fit your life.
Dementia does not begin with the first signs of memory loss. The changes that shape our brain health can develop quietly over decades. That is why now matters.
Whatever your age, whatever your starting point, there is so much you can do today to support the health of your future brain.
WHAT DEAR BRAIN OFFERS:
1:1 DEAR BRAIN COACHING
In our one-to-one sessions, we focus on the areas that matter most to you — whether that is memory, sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, breathing or your overall brain health.
Together, we make sense of the information, identify what may have the greatest impact for you, and turn it into realistic changes that fit your life.
BUTEYKO BREATHING METHOD
The way we breathe influences far more than we realise — including sleep, stress, energy, posture, oral health, nervous-system regulation and long-term brain health.
The Buteyko Method is a breathing re-education technique that focuses on restoring healthy, functional breathing patterns. It is widely used to support people with asthma and dysfunctional breathing, COPD, snoring and sleep disorders, anxiety and stress, and high blood pressure, as well as those who simply want to breathe better.
In our sessions, we look at how you breathe now and gently work towards a calmer, more efficient breathing pattern.
The aim is not to breathe more, but to breathe better — using practical tools that support healthier breathing patterns and, in turn, the health of your brain and body.
